Satellite is about:

Teenagers.

We love everything about teenagers.  We believe that our teens are the exciting future of the Church of Jesus Christ and future leaders of our culture--and we’re excited about what we’re seeing.  We love our music loud, our rooms messy, our games fast and furious, and our t-shirts bold and random.  We make teen culture our business at Satellite because we love teens.

Fun.

We are committed to building a safe environment that resonates fun and excitement to our teen audience.  We believe in creating a youth ministry that sends students home every week in anticipation for the next week’s service.  Satellite is about fun, family, and friends.  This is a place where you can kick back and be yourself.  We believe in having a good time when you’re here at Satellite.

Tradition.

We help teens build positive memories with their friends and peers in a positive environment year after year, giving them a program that creates loyalty, pride, commitment, and tradition.  While we are constantly trying new and exciting things, we hold on to things that define and represent who and what we are as a student ministry--the things that make us unique--whether it’s the Mattress Game at the Connect Varsity Winter Retreat, a Summer Small Group Bible study, or Super Bingo Night.

Character.

We teach values and principles that develop personal, relational, and spiritual maturity.  We are creating leaders who lead with integrity and great moral character.  We desire to come alongside teen families in shaping and helping define young men and women who lead exceptional lives in our community.  Our students learn how to serve others through various mission  and service opportunities built into our program.  We also cultivate additional leadership through our Satellite World Program and our Satellite Student Leadership Team.

Jesus Christ.

We are reaching the teens of the North Shore with the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ.  We are actively involved in making disciples of our students through Spirit-led evangelical Bible study, prayer, corporate worship, small groups, evangelism training, spiritual retreats, service opportunities, and mission trips.  All we do is centered around our belief that Jesus Christ is Lord, and is the fullest expression of God’s love and salvation towards mankind.
